The other view is read-only, allowing you to compare its contents with the main view.

When displaying a split view, PDFpen treats the left view (for vertical splits) or top view (for horizontal splits) as the main view. You can scroll each view separately and magnify each independently. The new Split commands let you split a PDFpen window either horizontally or vertically.
